Residence, curate and lecturer: I principally reside in the Parsonage House of my other Living of Stockleigh. I have at Bps Nymet a resident Curate in the Vicarage House, whose Name is John Burgess Karslake, whose Salary is £40 per annum (with other Emoluments) & who is; I apprehend, duly licensd. I have no Lecturer.
Other benefices: My other Benefice is Stockleigh Pomeroy near Crediton.
Divine service at other churches: My Curate performs Divine Service at no other Church besides my own, (excepting on Particular Necessary Occasions).
Frequency of divine service: Divine Service is performd in this Church twice on the Lords Day, with a Sermon in the Morning during the Winter, & two in the Summer Season.
Frequency of communion: The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper is administerd, five Times in the year, & the Number of the Communicants at Easter is about 100.
Church fabric: The Church & Chancel are in good Repair, & the Church yard is well kept; & there are all things decent for Divine Service.
Glebe terrier: No Terrier properly signd can well be procurd, as some of the Parishioners, who have the largest Estates, pretend a Modus for an Exemption from Tythe Hay. But there is preservd in the Custody of the Vicar, & written by one of his Predecessors in Vellum, an account of the only field belonging to the Glebe, & of the Houses, &c.
Charity: There are no Lands or Tenements left for pious & charitable uses; But some Benefactions, which have been duly applied.
